Abacus lines up C4’s Andrew Tate doc

NEWS BRIEF: UK-based distributor Abacus Media Rights has added one-off Channel 4 documentary (In)Famous: Andrew Tate from renowned documentarian Dan Reed to its sales slate.

The doc looks at how US-born ex-kickboxer and porn entrepreneur Tate became a social media hit peddling ‘self-help’ advice and gross misogyny before being arrested in Romania on suspicion of rape and human trafficking. Reed’s Amos Pictures (Leaving Neverland) has secured access to Tate and will document the build-up to and aftermath of his arrest and seek to unravel the many allegations made against him.
