NEWS BRIEF: Atresmedia in Spain has renewed gameshow The Wheel for a second season, marking a return for the format three years after its Spanish debut.

In The Wheel, originally created by Hungry McBear for BBC One in the UK, contestants take the hot seat at the centre of a giant revolving wheel where they must answer questions with the help of a panel of celebrity experts seated around the edge. The Spanish adaptation, titled El círculo de los famosos, is produced by Warner Bros International Television Production.
