51 Minds’ Zachary Klein adds COO role at US prodco Bunim/Murray Productions

Zachary Klein has been named chief operating officer (COO) at Banijay Americas-owned producer Bunim/Murray Productions (BMP), adding to his existing post as COO at 51 Minds Entertainment.

With the expansion of his role, Klein will now have oversight of production operations at both production companies, including franchises and shows such as Below Deck, The Challenge, Vanderpump Rules, A Killer Among Friends, Filthy Fortunes and The Chrisleys: Back to Reality.

The appointment was revealed by Julie Pizzi, who also has a dual role as president and CEO of BMP and 51 Minds.

Before being named COO at 51 Minds, Klein was the company’s executive VP of operations and production and prior to that was VP of production.

“Zach has extensive experience leading production operations and an exceptional understanding of how to service each of our clients’ unique needs,” said Pizzi.

“His ability to develop relationships with our partners and merge the creative with physical production strategy makes him invaluable and the perfect partner to serve as COO of both of our companies.”

Klein added: “My focus will be on accelerating the companies’ continued growth while empowering our exceptionally talented staff to continue delivering best-in-class products to our clients.”
