Red Arrow Studios’ 44 Blue takes Rockerdale comedy formats to US

Rosie Jones and Big Zuu in Mission: Accessible

Red Arrow Studios-owned prodco 44 Blue in the US has picked up a pair of comedy formats from UK prodco Rockerdale Studios for local adaptation.

Mission: Accessible has been picked up for US adaptation having recently been renewed for a second season by commercially funded UK pubcaster Channel 4.

The original British version sees Rosie Jones team up with fellow comedians and embark on a mission to help people plan adventures for disabled people.

44 Blue has also optioned the rights to make Rockerdale’s new remote control car competition series SpeedTown.

In the studio-based comedy gameshow format, remote control car hobbyists compete to race their vehicles around a fictional crime-riddled city named SpeedTown – a miniature cityscape filmed within a giant warehouse.

Separately, fellow US prodco Grandma’s House Entertainment (The Misery Index, Chasing the Crown) has optioned the rights to remake new reality format Fraud of the Rings in the US in which 10 brides and their grooms-to-be move into a country manor where one of the couples will win their dream marriage ceremony.
