3 Ball pockets producer Altrock

US reality producer 3 Ball Entertainment has appointed a veteran unscripted producer to oversee the company’s programming slate.

Jeff Altrock has joined 3 Ball as senior VP of current programming having recently worked as showrunner on the LA-based outfit’s MTV series Kingin’ with Tyga.

Altrock will report to 3 Ball’s exec VP of programming and development, DJ Nurre, and will be responsible for a slate that currently includes 15 series and specials on a range of broadcast, cable and digital networks.

Nurre, formerly senior VP of development and current series at 3 Ball, was promoted to the role earlier this year.

Altrock has served as executive producer and showrunner on unscripted projects for networks including Fox, VH1, Discovery, Lifetime and A&E.

The company is in production on home renovation series Downtown Shabby (8×60′) for US cablenet FYI. The series, which follows renovation and design experts Frank and Sherry Fontana as they bring vintage homes back from the brink, will begin airing in the fall.
