3 Ball finds Tremendous! exec

US unscripted prodco 3 Ball Entertainment has appointed a Tremendous! Entertainment exec as its new president.

Ronak Kordestani

Ronak Kordestani will be responsible for 3 Ball’s entire creative slate, overseeing a range of content for TV and digital platforms, and will steer all development and production.

Her purview will include long-running series Bar Rescue (Paramount) and My Cat From Hell (Animal Planet), besides shows in development such as Pampered Campers (Bravo).

Previously, Kordestani was head of development at Tremendous! where she worked on series Lost in Transition for TLC and Kentucky Murder Mystery for Investigation Discovery.

She also previously held a similar position at INE Entertainment, spearheading scripted and unscripted. She has also held business affairs and representation roles at The Gotham Group and AMG, CAA and UTA, respectively.

3 Ball co-CEOs Ross Weintraub and Todd A Nelson and chairman Reinout Oerlemans said in a joint statement they felt the company had found a “uniquely talented and accomplished leader,” adding that her range of expertise would make her a “creative force” at the firm.

“3 Ball is a company known for compelling and fastidious execution,” added Kordestani. “I am eager to showcase its brand and vast capabilities through new and innovative creative that is tailored to our quickly evolving marketplace.”
