108 takes Disturbia rights

Canada-based distributor 108 Media has acquired the exclusive worldwide distribution and packaging rights to new horror anthology series Disturbia.

The 6×60’ show, created by Adam Phillips, is set in various locations across South-East Asia and looks at the paranoias of modern society.

It is billed as a 21st-century take on The Twilight Zone and Hammer House of Horror.

Directed by Tony Tilse, the show will be coproduced and developed by Bedlam Productions – producer of Oscar-winning film The King’s Speech – alongside Big Man Films and Singapore-based Make Entertainment.

Abhi Rastogi, CEO of 108 Media, said: “This series is thrilling, relevant and has universal appeal and we are very excited to be working with such an all-star team of companies and individuals to help bring Disturbia to life.”
