Netflix woos Woo for drama, sci-fi

Netflix has agreed an overall scripted deal with American producer and screenwriter Alexander Woo (The Terror: Infamy).

The deal will see Netflix and Woo team up to develop, write and produce scripted drama and sci-fi projects, with the possibility of also working on other projects.

Woo was most recently the co-creator, showrunner and exec producer on AMC’s The Terror: Infamy and has previously served as an exec producer on HBO’s True Blood.

Other television credits to his name include the Emmy-nominated Showtime series Sleeper Cell, NBC’s LAX, the Fox series Wonderfalls and WGN America’s Manhattan. He has also been nominated for an Emmy and two Golden Globes during his career.
