The 4×60′ miniseries is a fish-out-of-water story about a Toronto cop who becomes embroiled in a murder case while visiting his father in India.

The show is a coproduction from Big Light Productions, Blue Ice Pictures, Industrial Development Corp (IDC) of South Africa, Wonder Worldwide and Bell Media.

It will become available to Netflix subscribers on December 19 after it premieres in Canada on November 23 and has been financed by Toronto-based Blue Ice Pictures and IDC.

The series was created, executive produced and written for Peters by Frank Spotnitz and Smita Bhide (Hunted, Transporter: The Series). The series is directed by Sandy Johnson (Benidorm, Jonathan Creek) and produced by Trevor Hopkins (Fortitude, Cuffs).

Other executive producers include Blue Ice Pictures’ Daniel Iron and Lance Samuels (Madiba, The Book of Negroes), Wonder Worldwide’s Mark Burton (Water, Tallulah), Peters, CPI Pictures’ Clayton Peters and Seven Summits’ Paul Canterna, while Sharon Remmer (The Man in the High Castle, Medici: Masters of Florence) is a co-executive producer.
