Nerd moves for Fresh One exec

UK-based Nerd TV has appointed an exec producer from Jamie Oliver’s Fresh One to work across development at the Red Arrow Entertainment-owned factual prodco.

Jeremy Lee becomes executive producer and will lead the company’s UK development programme and expand on Nerd’s catalogue of factual shows.

At Fresh One, Lee developed and executive produced titles such as the Idris Elba-fronted How Hip Hop Changed the World and How Clubbing Changed the World for Channel 4. Before that, he produced hit format Supernanny for Ricochet and created shows such as Are You Fitter than a Pensioner? for BBC3.

Jago Lee, MD at Nerd, said Jeremy Lee’s “formidable track record in arts, formatted and observational programming” would help the company create “the next wave of genre-bending series.”
