NBCU’s Diva in Me goes Dutch

NBCU International Formats’ drag queen reality series The Diva in Me

Dutch network NPO 3 has ordered the first local version of NBCUniversal International Formats’ drag queen-themed reality series The Diva in Me.

De Diva in Mij, produced by No Pictures Please, will debut on BNNVARA’s channel on July 29, following the deal with NBCUniversal International Formats.

The format, originally produced by Latin American outfit Movioca, will see drag queens Envy Peru, Hoax LeBeau and Lady Galore help empower a group of women who have lost their confidence.

“Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. I hope that the women trust us and that we can help them to really come out of their shell,” said Peru.
