NBCU adds DreamWorks blocks to i-Cable

MIPTV: NBCUniversal International Networks is launching two DreamWorks-branded blocks on Hong Kong’s i-Cable platform, featuring preschool characters including Noddy and Postman Pat.

Postman Pat will join HKIBC and i-Cable Children Channel

The first block launched last Friday on free-to-air English-language network Hong Kong International Business Channel (HKIBC), with DreamWorks titles running on weekdays in an early evening 17.00-17.30 slot. From April 29, the block will extend to one hour, starting at 17.00.

The initial line-up includes programmes such as Noddy Toyland Detective, Raa Raa the Noisy Lion, Postman Pat Special Delivery Service and Guess with Jess.

The second block on Cantonese pay TV channel, i-Cable Children Channel, will begin on July 1, running on weekdays from 10.00 with the same titles.

They mark the latest branded block launches from DreamWorks following previous roll-outs in Thailand and the Maldives.
