NBC rewards Good Girls with extra eps

US network NBC has ordered an additional three episodes of comedy crime series Good Girls ahead of next year’s third season.

Good Girls is about three suburban mothers who try to make ends meet by robbing a supermarket.

The first season of 10 episodes launched on NBC in 2018, with the second, early this year, increasing to 13. The third run will now comprise 16 shows.

Good Girls is produced by Universal TV and stars Christina Hendricks, Retta and Mae Whitman.

It is created and written by Jenna Bans, who also exec produces alongside Michael Weaver, Jeannine Renshaw, Mark Wilding and Bill Krebs. Weaver also directs.
