NBC returns to Ninja Warrior

NEWS BRIEF: US network NBC has commissioned a sixth season of American Ninja Warrior, which airs in partnership with Esquire Network in the US.

The series, produced by A Smith & Co Productions, follows competitors as they tackle obstacle courses and is based on Japanese format Sasuke, which airs on Tokyo Broadcasting System. This will be the ninth season of the show to Esquire.
