Paul Telegdy and George Cheeks, recently appointed co-chairs of NBC Entertainment, have been named as keynote speakers at the annual Natpe conference in Miami this January.

The pair were promoted by NBC in September after Bob Greenblatt announced he was standing down after eight years at the helm.

Natpe has also announced the addition of three new members to its board: Susanne Daniels, global head of original content at YouTube; Kathleen Finch, chief lifestyle brands officer at Discovery; and Brett Hansen, head of alternative television at UTA.

Additionally, a first-time special event headlined by media mogul Tyler Perry and produced by Natpe, entitled Living the Dream: A Career in Content, will take place on the Monday prior to the conference opening its doors.

Popular returning panels include How Wall St Watches Television and the Station Group Forum, as well as the 2019 edition of the Natpe Latin American Summit.

Sessions making their debut this year include Hollywood Dealmakers, curated by Lionsgate Television Group president Sandra Stern, and a one-on-one talk on the future of distribution between Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution president Mark Kaner and Gerhard Zeiler, president of Turner International.

Natpe president and CEO JP Bommel said: “Our theme for Natpe Miami this year is Shaping Content Together, which is not just a tagline, it is a worldwide call to action, to come to Miami this January where deals will get made.”

Natpe will run from January 22 to 24 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel.
