NBC builds bigger Superstore

America Ferrera is a the star and a producer of Superstore

NBC in the US has added nine more episodes to its second-season order of Superstore, the comedy series from America Ferrera.

The single-camera midseason comedy is set in a shopping store and explores the life of a woman played by Ferrera (Ugly Betty) and her incompetent colleagues. Its second season will now consist of 22 episodes.

The show, which debuted in November, was created by Justin Spitzer and is produced by US prodcos The District and Universal Television.
