Nat Geo Wild stages fourth Fight Night

Animal Fight Night was Arrow’s first move into natural history programming

US cablenet Nat Geo Wild has greenlit a further 14 episodes of its Animal Fight Night series from UK indie Arrow Media.

The fourth 14×60’ season will again use user-generated content, HD archives and footage from top wildlife cinematographers to capture shocking brawls between the biggest predators of the animal kingdom.

The show first launched as a three-part season in 2013 as Arrow’s first move into natural history programming. It has since worked on Big Cat Week for Nat Geo Wild and more recently Sea Monsters: The Definitive Guide for Nat Geo.

Arrow was established in 2011 by former Darlow Smithson trio Tom Brisley, John Smithson and Iain Pelling.
