Nat Geo takes flight in Turkey

National Geographic Channel in Turkey has ordered a fly-on-the-wall documentary series taking a peek behind the scenes of the country’s national airline.

Nat Geo has got together with Turkish Airlines to offer a glimpse into the workings of the company’s central operations and flights.

The series will focus on a regular weekend at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, following staff on the check-in desk, the cabin crews, lost luggage ‘detectives’ and more.

Production on the as yet unnamed show is due to get underway shortly for an autumn debut on National Geographic Channels in Turkey.

The new Nat Geo People channel will also get the programme in October while the core National Geographic Channel will air it globally from November.
