Nat Geo revisits Dubai International

National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) has commissioned a second, 10-part season of Ultimate Airport Dubai, which will air in 170 countries and 45 languages later this year.

The series, produced by UK prodco Arrow Media, goes behind-the-scenes of Dubai International, the world’s second busiest airport for international passengers. The first season was greenlit by NGCI in September 2012.

Last week UK broadcaster Channel 4 took a minority stake in Arrow, launched by ex-Darlow Smithson execs John Smithson, Tom Brisley and Iain Pelling five years ago, as part of its growth fund initiative.
