Nat Geo reels in live Tuna talkshow

National Geographic Channel in the US will premiere its first live talkshow, a spin-off from hit series Wicked Tuna, in June.

Reel Talk Live will air on Sunday June 8 following the season three finale of the extreme fishing series.

The show will see stars of Wicked Tuna answer questions from Facebook and Twitter live, and reveal behind-the-scenes details from their work.

The final episode of Wicked Tuna will air at 21.00 (ET/PT), followed by Reel Talk Live at 22.00, which will air delayed off tape on the West Coast.

Both shows are being produced by Pilgrim Studios, with Craig Piligian and Mike Nichols executive producing. The executive producer for National Geographic Channel is Robert Palumbo.
