MyaGo travels to UK and beyond

2D animated series MyaGo

UK broadcaster Channel 5’s preschool service Milkshake! has picked up two seasons of animated series MyaGo following a deal with Spanish producer and distributor Motion Pictures.

The 2D animated series MyaGo (104×5’30’) is centred around a curious young girl whose enthusiasm and sense of adventure leads her and her friends to learn something new.

The series is coproduced by Ireland’s Piranha Bar and Dear Will, Brazilian kids’ net Gloobinho and Spanish broadcasters RTVE and TV3. Sam Morrison (Peppa Pig) serves as lead writer.

The preschool series will launch in the UK in January 2020.

Both seasons of MyaGo have also been bagged by Portuguese broadcaster RTP, regional broadcaster ETB in Spain and Discovery Kids MENA. Additional upcoming launches are also scheduled on Sweden’s SVT, Isreali Hop! and Gloobinho in Brazil.

The latest sales join existing broadcasters airing the series including RTEjr in Ireland, Club Super 3 and Clan in Spain, New Zealand’s TVNZ and YLE in Finland.

A third season of 52×5’30’ has also been greenlit, with production set to start in January 2020.
