Munki and Trunk swings to global nets

MIPJUNIOR: Amazon in India, MBC3 in the Middle East and a host of Scandi broadcasters have picked up an animated preschool series from UK studio Aardman.

YLE in Finland, NRK in Norway and SVT in Sweden have acquired local rights to Munki and Trunk (52×7’), which is distributed by Aardman and produced by Sunrise Productions.

The non-dialogue, CG animated series is currently in production and has also been presold to Hop! In Israek, LTV in Latvia and RSI in Switzerland.

The series is a comedy aimed at kids aged between four and seven and features a big-hearted elephant and his best friend, a monkey.
