Multicom buys Kushner Locke library

Multicom Entertainment in the US has acquired the library of fellow LA distributor Kushner Locke, which totals over 1,000 hours of TV and film content.

Properties included in the deal are television series First and Ten, Harts of the West, Tropical Heat and Teen Wolf, as well as the animations Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars and Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue.

The film library of Kushner Locke, which has been a producer, financier and distributor for the past 30 years, covers documentary, drama, action, comedy, romance, horror and sci-fi, featuring stars such as Keanu Reeves, Renée Zellweger, Reese Witherspoon and Elizabeth Taylor.

Irv Holender, CEO of Multicom, said the library would “meet the programming demands of both traditional broadcasters and digital providers everywhere.”
