MTV US gets matching Tattoo

The UK version of Just Tattoo of Us

Viacom-owned MTV in the US has ordered a local version of an MTV International format that sees couples, friends and relatives design tattoos for each other.

Just Tattoo of Us will be produced by Big Fish Entertainment and hosted by Younger’s Nico Tortorella and Jersey Shore Family Vacation’s Nicole Polizzi.

The format originally launched on MTV in the UK last April, produced by local indie Gobstopper.

Just Tattoo of Us sees pairs design tattoos for each other that won’t be revealed until after they’ve been permanently inked, often with shocking results.

The UK version, which is hosted by Charlotte Crosby and Scotty T from fellow MTV show Geordie Shore, is now in its third season.
