MTV scales Hills spin-off once more

NEWS BRIEF: Viacom-owned US cablenet MTV has renewed its spin-off series The Hills: New Beginnings for a second season.

Produced by US factual prodco Evolution Media, the show is based on original docuseries The Hills, which aired for six seasons on MTV between 2006 and 2010. It follows a group of friends who live in LA.
