MTV orders revenge prank series

ViacomCBS-owned network MTV has greenlit a prank show hosted by Jersey Shore stars Paul ‘DJ Pauly D’ Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino.

Produced by UK-based prodco Gobstopper TV, Revenge Prank with DJ Pauly D & Vinny will see the hosts help subjects of viral internet pranks get payback on the people who embarrassed them by pulling off even more over-the-top pranks.

The series will premiere on youth-skewing net MTV in the US this summer, with an international launch later in the year.

Last year, DJ Pauly D and Vinny paired up to star in a reboot of MTV dating show A Double Shot of Love.
