MotorTrend revs up car competition series

Bitchin’ Boot Camp will launch on the MotorTrend app next year

Discovery-owned MotorTrend Group has greenlit a new competition series titled Bitchin’ Boot Camp exclusively for its streaming app.

The new series will see eight contestants compete for a full-time job at Kindig-It Design, a company run by renowned car designer Dave Kindig.

Bitchin’ Boot Camp is produced by Fischer Productions with Chris Fischer and Nick Meagher executive producing the series, which will be made available on the MotorTrend App in 2020.

Mike Suggett, head of programming and development at automotive-focused MotorTrend, said: “We’re making this series for anyone who has ever dreamt of working at the top of the custom car profession, and we invite those who feel they have what it takes to apply today for a place to compete on Bitchin’ Boot Camp.”

Additionally, the sixth season of MotorTrend and Kindig’s Bitchin’ Rides premiered on the group’s US cablenet MotorTrend TV earlier this week.
