Barry Jossen is leaving ABC Studios and will be replaced as executive VP by current senior VP of development Patrick Moran.

Jossen is resuming his career as a producer and has signed a production deal with the US studio.

Moran will take responsibility for all creative and production operations. His credits at the production house include Once Upon a Time, Revenge and Nashville.

Meanwhile, senior VP of drama development Channing Dungey has been promoted to exec VP, adding movies and miniseries to her remit.

Dungey, who joined ABC Studios in 2009, is credited with developing and acquiring shows such as Lost, Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy.

Finally, Samie Falvey, senior VP of comedy development, has been promoted to exec VP and adds international scripted development to her comedy responsibilities at ABC Studios.

Falvey helped launched comedy shows such as Modern Family and The Middle after joining the studio in 2006.

“Samie, Patrick and Channing are talented, risk-taking storytellers as well as trusted executives with strong relationships throughout the creative community,” said Paul Lee, group president of ABC Entertainment.
