Montgomery’s Wheelhouse staffs up

Wheelhouse Entertainment, the talent and content company founded last year by former ITV America CEO Brent Montgomery, has set up its senior leadership team.

Former ESPN strategy and business development executive Julie Souza has joined Wheelhouse as chief operating officer from sports technology and NBA analytics partner Second Spectrum.

Jerry DiMeglio has been named chief financial officer, having previously held the same role at Leftfield Entertainment, the production group founded and run by Montgomery that was sold to ITV in 2014.

Meanwhile, Fanny Baudry has joined Wheelhouse as VP of business development, West Coast, having previously been head of content and development at The Creative Studio, the joint venture from Scooter Braun and BBH.

Before that, she was VP of global acquisitions at Banijay Entertainment, with oversight of series commissions, coproduction and co-financing opportunities, as well as international acquisitions for Banijay’s international distribution division.

In addition Michael Salerno, an attorney who also previously worked at Leftfield Entertainment, has joined as VP of business development, East Coast.

Baudry and Salerno will work with Wheelhouse’s creative teams to drive a variety of deals, strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities at Wheelhouse.
