Narishkin has joined the Paris-based company as general manager having previously held the same role at the licensing arm of French broadcaster TF1.

Prior to joining TF1 in 2015, Narishkin spent more than 15 years at CPLG/WildBrain, working with clients such as Fox, Lucasfilm, DreamWorks and Marvel.

Millimages, which was founded in June 1991, is behind animated series such as Louie, Mouk, Pirata & Capitano and Molang, which has become a huge success online and in licensing and merchandising (L&M).

Narishkin has been tasked with transforming the studio’s business model, developing new TV series and feature films and growing its L&M activities.

Part of Millimages’ strategy in 2021 will be to revive IP in its library, such as Lascars, Louie & Yoko, Mouk, Corneil & Bernie and 64 Zoo Lane.

Roch Lener, founder and CEO of Millimages, said: “Our industry is going through drastic changes. Nevertheless, one of Millimages’ defining characteristics, in addition to creativity, is its ability to adapt in times of adversity.

“The arrival of Marina is a testament to that adaptability, reinforcing the Millimages team now more than ever. Her know-how of the audiovisual industry on a worldwide scale, her expertise in licensing and her committed attitude are all invaluable assets to face the challenges of the future.”
