Mentorn's Robots invade Germany

German network RTL2 is to get its own version of the hit BBC2 gameshow Robot Wars, after doing a local presenter deal with the producer's distribution arm Mentorn International.

The star of the German version of Big Brother, Christian Moellman will present German links over footage of series 2 of the UK version of Robot Wars. The resulting 30×30' series, co-produced with Cologne-based Couch Potatoes, will air in a Sunday primetime slot from October 14.

Robot Wars, which airs on over 20 channels worldwide, has a fifth series in post-production, due to be broadcast on BBC2 in the UK later this year.
