Mentorn picks up MTV format

Mentorn International has picked up worldwide distribution rights to Fear, the MTV format which made its debut in the US last September.

Fear is a reality-based show in which six contestants are abandoned in {spine-tingling{ locations – haunted buildings, abandoned prisons etc. There they have to complete a variety of missions to win a cash prize.

{Fear is a stunning addition to Mentorn’s catalogue, distinctive, different and a perfect fit for the company’s other 16-34 year-old [skewing] formats,{ said Mark Rowland, Mentorn International’s managing director.

Mentorn, part of the Television Corporation, already produces BBC2’s Robot Wars.
