Matt Hatter joins KidsCo block

NBCUniversal (NBCU)-owned international children’s network KidsCo has picked up another series for its recently announced SyFy Kids block.

Season one of CGI action-adventure series Matt Hatter Chronicles, from UK producer and distributor Platinum Films, will join the new branded kids’ block when it launches in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) this June.

KidsCo MD Hendrik McDermott said the third-party acquisition was a “perfect fit” that both complemented “a strong line-up of content from our shareholders” and “the values and personality of the new branded block.”

The block’s line-up, which will first launch exclusively on KidsCo in peaktime in CEE, already includes Zuzu & the Supernuffs, Z-Squad, Di-Gata Defenders, The Mummy, Earthworm Jim, The Future is Wild and Dino Squad.
