Sky1 in the UK has picked up Marvel’s Inhumans, with the series set to air on the entertainment channel this autumn.

Coproduced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, Inhumans stars Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels), Iwan Rheon (Riviera, Game of Thrones) and Serinda Swan (Ballers, Graceland). It joins fellow US imports Modern Family, The Simpsons and The Blacklist on Sky1.

The show is executive produced by Scott Buck (Dexter) along with Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory, with Buck serving as showrunner. The trio previously worked together on fellow Marvel show Iron Fist.

The acquisition of Inhumans, which premieres on ABC in the US on September 29, was negotiated by Lucy Criddle, Sky’s head of acquisitions, and distributor Disney UK & Ireland.

Marvel’s Inhumans is part of Sky1’s new season line-up, including Sky original productions such as Jack Whitehall comedy-thriller Bounty Hunters, a new season of action-drama Strikeback and comedy Sick Note, staring Rupert Grint and Nick Frost.
