Three women live in the heart of an upmarket area in Stockholm, juggling the challenges and joys of motherhood, work, and relationships. Despite their differences, they have always had their friendship to lean on — for years, their sons have played in the same football team and gone to the same school.

Then one night, a car accident threatens to change everything forever. Suddenly, what was a fulfilling friendship between three women becomes a painful test of patience. Bonds are pushed to the limit as new layers of guilt, shame and betrayal emerge.

Bringing together some of Sweden’s best actors and Nordic storytelling at its finest, this character-driven drama shows what it means to be hovering in the space between life and death.
