Non-confrontational Emil and self-assured Viktor are life-long friends. Having always done everything together, they decide to become business partners when they launch a sustainable catering company.

Everything changes when Emil discovers that Viktor is actually in a relationship with his mother, Helle. Emil has a hard time accepting the situation, but to avoid conflict he buries his feelings and decides just to accept the incredibly awkward situation.

When Viktor and Emil’s mum decide to move in together and casually start mentioning starting a new family, Emil feels increasingly uncomfortable and his acceptance of the new couple is stretched to its limit.
