Wild Family follows the day-to-day life of a very unusual family: Leandro Silveira, is the founder of the “Instituto Onça-Pintada”, a place for the preservation of animal life located in Goiás, in the Emas National Park, he, his wife Anah Jácomo and their son Tiago, live in the wild, among the jaguars and the most diverse rescued animals. The series shows the unusual day-to-day life of this family, as we join in the activities of the Institute and its surroundings. The biggest challenges are the conflicts with the inhabitants of the park's surroundings - how do you convince them not to devastate and kill when the animals preserved by the Institute pose threats to their farms? Traveling through the Cerrado and the Pantanal, Leandro will explore alternative mechanisms for preserving jaguars in these regions. Another immediate problem is the maintenance of the “Instituto Onça-Pintada”, which has grown to house more and more researchers. Today, it incorporates several buildings, such as a large nursery and a plot of land reserved exclusively for photographing and filming jaguars - one of Leandro's innovative initiatives to raise awareness of the animal cause. The aim of the series is to show how conservation work can not only serve the animals, but also the interests of society. In this way, Leandro will seek solutions for a harmonious coexistence between jaguars and humans.
