Off-Road Rescue follows Bruce Cook, a world-renowned freestyle motocross rider who was paralyzed in a record-breaking stunt, as he leads BC Off-Road Rescue & Recovery through the toughest recoveries in North America. Against all odds, Bruce thrives in the mountains, tackling everything from RVs dangling off icy cliffs to Jeeps buried in backcountry snow, armed with nothing but instincts, ingenuity, and a few chains.
But Bruce isn’t the only one on the trails. Rival operator Luke Pitman, with his monster rig and taste for competition, turns every rescue into a race and isn’t afraid to play dirty. Meanwhile, Chuck and his crew of skilled volunteers bring a different kind of grit: heart, camaraderie, and a drive to help others no matter the odds. Sometimes allies, sometimes competition, they’re a wildcard in the backcountry.
