After an accident, Yuri begins to hear other people's inner voices whenever she looks into their eyes. This ability allows her to communicate with her father, who has full-body paralysis, and helps her succeed in business. However, it also leads her to avoid close relationships. She distances herself from others unless absolutely necessary and gives up on the idea of romantic love.
One day, Yuri meets Teo, a younger Korean student. When she accidentally makes eye contact with him, she hears his inner thoughts—but in Korean. With Teo, Yuri starts to nurture hopes of a romantic relationship she once thought impossible. His presence prompts her to reconsider the possibility of love, leaving her torn about whether to relinquish her power for her lover or keep it for her father.
