Now appointed interim boss of the Copenhagen Symphony Orchestra, Jeppe has a lot of pressure on his shoulders. The Orchestra is in financial turmoil and Gertrud expects results fast, putting him at the delicate centre of budget cuts, wellness surveys and angry musicians. His family life is also at stake since his biggest enemy, Simon, is now Regitze’s boyfriend and Alma’s stepfather. Bo finally becomes 1st clarinettist, but as his mother is diagnosed with cancer, he finds himself in an emotional slump. An unlikely relationship with the new canteen lady seems to make him more of a self-sufficient adult, while Jeppe struggles with the growing pressure and finally learns to fight for what really matters to him: Regitze and Alma.
