When Hela, a sex worker living in Berlin, learns that her estranged daughter Wiki is struggling with drug addiction and teenage motherhood, she returns to her hometown of winouj cie to offer help. Just as Wiki begins to open up and consider moving to Berlin with her mother, she suddenly vanishes. As the police launch an investigation, Hela grows suspicious of Kuba – Wiki’s abusive partner and a member of the local police force. Convinced he’s involved in her daughter’s disappearance, Hela sets out on a perilous journey through the town’s criminal underworld, determined to find Wiki before it’s too late.
