In Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Hot Seat six players vie for a jackpot by answering 15 timed questions. The first player faces the questions; a correct answer allows them to continue, while a wrong answer eliminates them and reduces the jackpot for others. There’s just one ‘safe haven’, no option to walk away and the only lifeline is to pass, sending the question to the next player in line and moving the player in the Hot Seat down to the back of the queue. Only the contestant occupying the Hot Seat for the final question has the chance to win the final jackpot.
