This contemporary adaptation of Mad About You follows Jimena and Pablo, a couple with very different origins and personalities. They got married after a brief relationship, brought together by the initial spark that united them. Now that they've moved in together, they must find a way for their neuroses to inhabit in an apartment in Mexico City. They’ll have to navigate each other’s professional successes, failures, and the ever-present sister and a cousin—who are closer than the air they breathe. Every day, they’ll learn to cope with the outside world, where family, careers, and the romantic doubts surrounding their friends will threaten their relationship.

This is the story of a couple learning how to live together as newlyweds, managing hopes, handling doubts, and dealing with each other’s dreams and frustrations while sharing a tiny bathroom—a territory more dangerous than Vietnam. The daily routine of a well-timed joke, the restaurant they visit almost every day, or a comforting gesture after a bad day will reveal some of the absurd but beautiful experiences of being a couple. When the outside world seems to be falling apart, they will work hard, using humor, to keep the chaos at bay and their love intact—or better yet, to make it grow, even though it’s not easy. Neither Jimena nor Pablo would change their evenings of watching TV and canceling plans for anything, as they always choose each other. In reality, this is the story of all of us—those brave enough to live with a stranger in the search of building a family.
