Irish film, TV and animation funding agency Screen Ireland is involved in a record number of projects at present, thanks to strong growth in the production of Irish content recently.
Screen Ireland’s head of TV, Andrew Byrne, who joined the company two-and-a-half years ago, says the agency’s TV drama slate has grown from working on two or three projects at any one time to about 15 or 16 as a result of Screen Ireland increasing its funding for TV drama production.
