Restoration Garage 6 gets more behind-the-scenes and personal with its customers this season with a 1930 Model A Ford whose owner bought it as a memory to his grandfather, and now wants to restore it to take his own grandchildren for ice cream. And a 1964 GTO Pontiac whose owner with terminal cancer passes away before he can see his car finished. His wife steps in to complete the GTO and take her husband’s ashes for a ride.

David and Janice head to France this season to join in the 80th anniversary of the Circuit International Des Remparts in Angouleme, a race around the walls of the Old Town of Cite des Valois. They travel the local countryside to explore some unique car collections, and visit one of the largest collections of Bugatti’s in the world at the Cite de l’Automobile Museum.

The Atlanta Concours d’Elegance has asked David to be a judge this year for the Magnificent Seven Competition taking place at the Tyler Perry Studios grounds. David takes his famous Bugatti Aerolithe as a “special guest”, and he and Janice explore a showcase of Cars of Iconic Black Americans where they run into Diana Brown Thomas, the daughter of James Brown, and car lover Vanessa Williams.
