This ""accident"" is the starting point of an investigation led by Emilie Karras, a young police officer from Lyon, but originally from Les Clairies where she grew up but left 12 years ago to save herself. During the investigation, she is forced to stay at the Clairies and collaborate with Major Servoz, a local and disillusioned police officer. They will discover the pretense and subterfuge of this resort swallowed up by a luxury real estate development that divides the inhabitants.
