'Beat the Chasers' is the bolder, brassier, bigger brother to the ITV Daytime quiz show 'The Chase'. In a gladiatorial studio setting, contestants face not one, but all six Chasers, The Beast, The Vixen, The Supernerd, The Sinnerman, The Dark Destroyer and The Menace. All are quizzing genius' in their own right, each with their own area of expertise, and, as a sixsome, the best quiz team in the world. Contestants have to answer five multiple choice questions to build their cash pot. Get the first one wrong, and they're gone. But, score 1 or more and they take on the Chasers in a quick-fire Q&A against the clock. The Chasers make offers of increasing money, but less time for the contestant to try and take them down. If the Chasers run out of time before the contestants, they go home with the offer they chose. If the contestant runs out of time before the Chasers, they go home with nothing. If the contestant scores 5 in the cash builder, they get to take on all the Chasers for a super offer, upwards of £500,000. But there's no time advantage on the clock. Beat the Chasers is the ultimate quiz challenge for huge rewards.
