Two Years Later is a contemporary eight-part romance drama in the vein of One Day, following Ryan and Emily, two thirty-somethings whose relationship blossoms in the aftermath of the pandemic.
Brenton Thwaites (Titans, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent) and Phoebe Tonkin (Boy Swallows Universe, The Vampire Diaries) lead the cast as Ryan and Emily who regularly share a bus journey to work before the pandemic hits. Once lockdown is over, they meet again and are struck by the energy between them quickly beginning a relationship. But is their attraction enough to overcome their insecurities as they are forced to reveal more about themselves and their lives.
Timely, funny and moving, each episode centres on one of their dates – exploring the highs and lows of a new relationship as they encounter each other’s lives.
