But don’t be fooled, Fish Forever isn’t about the doom and gloom, instead it’s a story of hope about learning and working together. ‘If we don’t understand something, how can we attempt to protect it. By sharing our journey and capturing the true beauty of the marine world we hope to inspire everyone to appreciate it and want to protect it for the future.’
Through his lifetime of adventures, Al has witnessed the undeniable changes our oceans are facing and the impact these changes are having on our fisheries. ‘The waters I am fishing today have completely changed since I was a kid and natural events, I have experienced, have disappeared…possibly forever.’
Fish Forever is a journey of discovery as Al, Auds and Coops experience the highs and lows of ambitiously attempting to deploy research tags into some of the biggest fish in the sea from our very doorstep to the depths of some of biggest submarine canyons on earth.
