In the second season, Jim Bergerac begins rebuilding his life. His mother-in-law, Charlie Hungerford , has found new romance, and with Kim’s encouragement, Jim cautiously steps into dating. A chance meeting with Nicola, visiting Jersey, sparks a potential new beginning.

But before their relationship can take shape, Jim is drawn into another gripping investigation.
